A
Republican with enormous integrity and
accountability, Matt is a Technology and
Management Consulting Executive with a
history of delivering results. Married
for fourteen years, Matt and his wife,
Robyn, have been blessed with three
wonderful children – Celia, Abby, and Sam
– and a playful yellow Lab named Sadie.
A resident of Plano where he attends
Prestonwood Baptist Church, Matt has more
than nineteen years of professional
experience, including ten years at EDS.
Appointed
by Governor Rick Perry to the State Board of
Social Workers, Matt chairs the board’s
Professional Development Committee and also
serves on the Ethics Committee.
Matt’s involvement in the
Republican Party includes:
Long
active in community and civic affairs, Matt
served as the Chairman of the Plano
Community Relations Committee and as a
Commissioner of the Plano Transition and
Revitalization Commission.
He also serves on the Finance
Committee of the Colonial PGA Golf
Committee.
A
native of Virginia, Matt’s parents
instilled in him conservative values as well
as a commitment to dedicate his gifts and
talents to serve others.
He received his Bachelor’s degree
from Randolph-Macon College in Virginia and
a Master’s degree from SMU.
