It's time for change on the Commissioners Court and part of that change means the introduction of term limits.  As each year goes by and our Commissioners remain on the court, they increasingly grow out of touch with the voters of Collin County.  A glaring example of this is their funding of organizations that lobby against your interests in Austin using your taxpayer dollars.  Additionally, the budget process each year is like Christmas for the Commissioners as they find ways to reward themselves with salary increases and longevity bonuses that have doubled their compensation in less than a decade.   As your County Commissioner, I will work to reduce the pay for Commissioners and lock it's salary for the duration of my term.

I have started a Term Limits Petition so that together, you and I, can work to introduce term limits to the Collin County Commissioners Court.  Our Founding Fathers never intended for lifetime politicians to feed at the public trough for their own benefit.  Rather, they envisioned a citizenry who would volunteer their gifts and talents for a period of time and then return to the private sector.
